Relationship.

We need supportive, loving relationships throughout our lives to come into our full human potential emotionally, biologically, and spiritually.

Our first relationships were when we were children.  Even though our parents did the best they could for us, sometimes they weren’t able to give us enough loving, mirroring and support as kids.  Because of that, we may not have been able to trust and like ourselves.  Our adult relationships might be difficult and unsatisfying.  Our lives as kids, and now, as adults can really be limited by:

  • low self esteem
  • an inability to sustain relationships
  • anger and volatile emotions
  • or a numbness and inability to even know what or how we are feeling.

The good news is that our brains (the hardwiring) and our “spirits” – (whatever you like to call our unique pithy individual essence) – these can come into wholeness through caring relationships.  I can help you do this through visualization, practicing, growing your own good “radar” inside, learning how to calm yourself, and using our relationship as a safe base.  Our therapy sessions are your place where you can learn how to:

  • feel good about yourself
  • recognize who in your life is safe to trust
  • find new friends and deepen old friendships
  • take in goodness from other people
  • offer goodness back
